Personal Protective Equipment

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is specialized clothing and or equipment worn by an individual for protection against infectious diseases. 

Personal protective equipment refers to protective clothing, gloves, face shields, goggles, facemasks and/or respirators or other equipment designed to protect the individual from injury or the spread of infection or illness.

PPE face combined with other preventive measures, such as frequent hand-washing and social distancing, help slow the spread of viruses.
